Accounting Manager
We are seeking an Accounting Manager who is excited to build, develop, and lead ReloShare’s accounting department to support a high growth, dynamic enterprise.

Responsibilities
General Accounting Operations
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to complete customer billing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Execute payment processing including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, internal controls, while leading by example.
- Develop an accounting team with a customer service mindset that is focused on staff development, training, mentoring, and recruiting.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and prepare accurate financial reporting and analysis including KPIs and metrics for leadership review and use.
- Lead hoc analysis and projects.
Budgeting/Forecasting/Projections
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets/forecasts/ projections (annual and forecast updates)
- Collaborate with across the organization to gather financial data, analyze variances, and provide insights on performance.
- Contribute by analyzing financial projections, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to achieve financial goals.
Outside Relationships
- Assist with reporting requirements to VC investor.
- Coordinate year-end accounting and tax preparation with external providers.
- Collaborate on other hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
- An individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative. Must be willing to exhibit initiative while working independently and proactively. Must be able to operate in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. Operates with a customer service mentality.
- Analytical and strong communication skills, while collaborating across the organization.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, with an appreciation for cash basis analysis.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Ideally, combination of public accounting and industry experience.
- QuickBooks experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google work platforms.
