About the Facilitators
Sydney Rolle-Stern holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from LaSalle University. She began her career in 2014 at Lutheran Settlement House’s Bilingual Domestic Violence Program and later worked with Public Health Management Corporation’s Forensic Services Unit, where she collaborated with the judicial system to provide treatment alternatives for individuals facing incarceration due to substance abuse. Sydney returned to Lutheran Settlement House in 2019 as Housing First Coordinator, and now serves as the Assistant Director of the Bilingual Domestic Violence Program. With experience as a Medical Advocate, Counselor, Housing Program Case Manager, and Supervisor, Sydney has devoted her career to empowering survivors of intimate partner violence and advocating for systemic change.
Kristina Hansen currently serves as the Client Services Coordinator within the Lutheran Settlement House (LSH) Bilingual Domestic Violence Program in Philadelphia. She has been a professional advocate and counselor for domestic violence survivors for more than two years. She is passionate about providing inclusive trauma-informed services through an empowerment-based framework. While offering counseling and connection to resources, she has witnessed survivors find safety, achieve their goals, and take their power back.
